As an author, I passionately craft poems, books, programs, and experiences that educate, entertain, and inspire. My passion for writing fuels a unique blend of words, tools, and motivation that targets social justice topics and educates metropolitan families. My primary advocacy is for reproductive rights, human rights, equity for underserved communities, domestic violence awareness/prevention, and global literacy. My road to becoming an author is grounded in early interest in books and poetry, and over the years has been driven by my aggressive resistance to trauma, depression, substance abuse, and Anglo-male-dominated oppression. I use the things that tried to destroy my peace and my smile to inspire and educate others on choosing wellness, harnessing joy, and developing themselves to bring their dreams to life.
