The average American is one emergency away from homelessness, depression, or hospitalization, which means that this could happen to any of us and render our families dejected. The often under-discussed issue is that the system is broken. We need a world where the people dispensing hard labor to build the world we live in will also be able to afford it - especially in times of tragedy, epidemic, or pandemic.
